- The Sneedville/Hancock Chamber &
Community Partners will hosting the
Overcome Family Christmas Parade
December 3, 2011. The parade
will start at 6:00 P.M. There
will be 1st, 2nd,place trophies
awarded for floats in all four
categories. The chamber
would like everyone in the parade to
light it up so they will be extremely
visible. There will also be a
trophy awarded for the best light
display. To kick off the
parade there will be music starting in
front of the court house beginning at
4:30 pm. We would like to
encourage all of the civic groups,
businesses, church's and families to
enter a float this year , also horse
owners, or horse and buggy's, 4
wheelers, tractors, motorcycles , or
anything that rolls, light it up and
come to the parade.

- December 10th is our Overcome
Christmas Market place at the Farmers
Market. From 12:00 to 8:00 pm
- Its the perfect place to get that
last minute Christmas gifts from local
artist, or Christmas treats for
everyone. There will be music,
food, special treats for the kids ,
pictures with Mr. & Mrs.
Clause. Sonny Mullins will
be there with his new book Growing up
Country dedicated to his late brother
Jim Mullins. We hope everyone
comes out and helps us celebrate this
beautiful time of year
